One thing I wish I had known before embarking on this adventure was how to pack efficiently for a whirlwind trip involving multiple flights. Imagine 10 planes in 10 days – the key is to pack as light as you possibly can. Prioritize essentials and versatile clothing that can be mixed and matched. Trust me, traveling light makes hopping from plane to plane so much easier and more enjoyable.
What is the best time of year to visit?
If you’re planning a trip like this, the best time to visit is from April to June. During these months, you’ll experience ideal weather conditions, making it perfect for exploring and soaking in all the beauty each destination has to offer.
What was your favorite experience?
Without a doubt, my favorite place visited was the Serengeti. Seeing the Big 5 – lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos – all on the first day was an exhilarating experience.
What surprised you the most?
What truly surprised me the most was the kindness of everyone I met in Africa. From locals to fellow travelers, the warmth and hospitality I encountered were heartwarming and made the journey even more special.
What was the highlight of your trip?
It’s hard to pinpoint a single highlight because every moment of this trip was extraordinary. Each experience, whether it was witnessing a majestic sunset or exploring a new landscape, was a highlight that words and pictures can hardly do justice.
