What kind of travelers would most enjoy this property?
Upscale travelers who enjoy a beautiful location, gorgeous flowers, activities galore (golf, tennis pickleball, a fitness center & spa, numerous pools & paddle boats, a bowling alley, shopping on property, and numerous adventures to participate in off property.) There are over 10 restaurant options and those who desire the very BEST in service would LOVE the Broadmoor.
What time of year is best to visit?
The best time to visit is during the summer, as the mornings and evenings are quite cool. (However, they have year around outdoor activities, so I would think it depends on what one wants in a vacation.)
What surprised you the most?
I was surprised by the level of personal service. They ‘do it right’ at the Broadmoor and it is the way hospitality “used to be” and should be provided at any and all hotels! The hotel is not inexpensive, but you truly ‘get what you pay for’ at The Broadmoor!
Anything else you want to share?
This resort is a perfect multi gen location as there are families galore. It’s also a great place for a celebratory stay. (3 years ago, Richie and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at the Broadmoor with our “kids” and grandkids. They LOVED it as well!) It’s also a delightful resort for a couple just wanting to experience a marvelous R&R get away.
